Col-Met Engineered Finishing Solutions Announces New Strategy and Team
Rockwall, TX, October 27, 2014 ... Col-Met Engineered Finishing Solutions recently modified the Col-Met logo from what you may recall. This is not just a formality, but one of many steps in the direction of transforming our entire organization. Our market research told us we were viewed as a spray booth provider and we felt it important to not only use this time to change our logo and look, but to also line up our talents with the new direction. Col-Met has and will continue to produce high-quality spray booths, but our product line is so much more diverse. As you can see under our logo it reads Engineered Finishing Solutions. This truly represents our focus as we re-organize, promote our entire product line to the market and aggressively build an infrastructure to bring new innovation to the industry at a rapid pace.
With this type of transition comes reorganization needs as well, making sure our skill sets line up well with our business focus. Internally and within our field team we have made some adjustments in personnel. Col-Met made these choices in an effort to look at our business needs and thus create a long-term sustainable business strategy. These new individuals we have brought to the team of already talented people will fill key internal job descriptions created in an effort to support our customers even better.
Col-Met is very pleased to announce that Rodger Talbert joined our team on November 1, 2014. Rodger has been an icon in the finishing industry for more than 30 years. His credentials and proven track record speaks for itself. He will join Col-Met as Director of Business Development and cover the Midwest, supporting our distribution partners.
Chet Sweatman is joining Col-Met's team in the Southeast as a Territory Manager. He has experience in liquid application, electro-deposition and powder coatings, and for more than 15 years has dedicated his career to the design and optimization of these type of coating operations. Rodger and Chet will join Aaron Kriegel, Northeast Regional Manager and Chris Schoch, Western Regional Manager.
Trey Peavy has accepted a promotion to Director of Innovation and Research and will lead his team to optimize our current product lines and build internal commitment to bring new innovation extensions to the market, expanding and enhancing our product offering for our distribution partners.
Col-Met has also added Todd Herndon, Cory Lawrence and Russell Priske to the internal customer support teams, joining the current experienced staff. This group of dedicated professionals will strengthen our team to improve our ability to support quotes, distributor questions, lead generation as well as feed an innovation pipeline of new and exciting products of the future.
